 Our energy policy has become a major problem due to Washington's failure to create a comprehensive energy policy that makes America independent of foreign oil.
America can do anything with the right leadership; when John F. Kennedy challenged America to go to the moon within a decade, America beat him to that deadline.
Congress must look at the current energy crisis and place all options on the table in order to alleviate the burden on our citizens. We need to look both at energy alternatives such as solar, wind, and nuclear power as well as exploring domestic drilling options and increasing our oil refining capacity. |
